About Pursuit Land & Chris Anderson
Chris is a life-long outdoorsman with a real passion for the land business.
After serving three years in the United States Marine Corps, he attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he earned a BA with Honors in Geology and an MBA with High Honors. While at UT he balanced his studies with work as a whitewater raft guide on numerous southeastern rivers including the Ocoee, Nolichucky, Chattooga, New, Gauly, and Big South Fork. He served as vice president of the UT Canoe and Hiking Club.
He is an avid hunter and conservationist with a deep attachment to the middle Tennessee landscape. He has a love of deer stands, duck blinds, and Labrador Retrievers. He is past president of the Middle Tennessee QDMA branch.
Chris enjoys sharing his knowledge about all aspects of land with his clients. Whether its habitat management for wildlife, timberstand improvement, soils, topography, or the myriad rules governing land development, Chris is a trusted advisor to his clients.
Chris and his wife Becky (who is also a Realtor) live in Brentwood and have two adult children, Hunter and Sarah. He was a director of the Brentwood High School 12th Man Club and the founder and president of the Brentwood High School Baseball Booster Club.
