About Pursuit Land Company & Chris Anderson
Thank you for taking a minute to learn more about me. I hope to have an opportunity to get to know you better.
My name is Chris Anderson. I live in Brentwood, Tennessee with my wife Becky, daughter Sarah and son Hunter. I am a lifelong outdoorsman. I have spent countless hours in pursuit of game, fish, recreation, and plain ol' solitude in the great outdoors. I enjoy spending time with friends and family hunting, fishing, canoeing, hiking, photographing, and exploring the wild areas of Tennessee.
I publish a popular hunting blog called PursuitHunting.com. Through my website, I have educated thousands of outdoor enthusiasts about hunting techniques, land navigation, tree identification, hunting gear, and the value of conserving our precious wildlife and wildland resources.
I am president of the Middle Tennessee Branch of the Quality Deer Management Association, a conservation organization dedicated to promoting sustainable, high quality, white-tailed deer populations, wildlife habitats, and ethical hunting experiences through education, research, and management in partnership with hunters, landowners, natural resource professionals, and the public.
As a member of the Tennessee Wildlife Federation's Legislative Affairs Committee and its Camo and Casting Coalition, I am active in monitoring legislation that affects our wildlife resources and advocating in the interests of Tennessee sportsmen.
I am president of the Brentwood High School baseball booster club and a board member of the football booster club.
I have a BA in Geology and an MBA from the University of Tennessee and served in the United States Marine Corps.
